The picture brings back great memories. I started my love affair with Paris in 1968, a decidedly dodgy summer in Paris(De La Salle HQ Rue de Sevres). Subsequent Summer holidays with the kids brought us round the Peripherique and down the Autoroute du Soleil.Business trips followed. But my fondest memories are of a little two star hotel literally in the shadow of the Madeleine where my mum and I stayed on two happy trips to the City of Light!
